The USS United States built in the United States in the early 50' has wined and dined presidents, wealthy businessman, and Hollywood's finest!!! It broke the speed record for the transatlantic crossing. It served its passengers and crew in the best of class!!! Now she sits waiting her fate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to be refurbished or to go to the scrap yards. To me old ships, and airplanes just go on, and on, and on, with out ever dying!!! This is a wonderful image for the nautical art collector, or a similar d�cor!!! I call it "As She Rusts Away"!!!!
