Description
There are times that things just seem to fall into place in spite of what is going on around you! This photo of the sunset with a sailboat on the horizon almost did not happen!! I waited until the sky was perfect. But I wanted to do a long exposure of the water around the rocks. There was another photographer just to the right of my photo taking family photos. Lol five kids, parents, a photographer and his assistant!!! I saw the boat and started taking photo's. Photo one spoiled by kids, photo two spoiled by kids, photo four waves did not work out, photo five spoiled with people in the photo!! Wow photo six perfect!!!!!!!!! The six photo did not have people in it to spoil it. I love the location of the sailboat, because I was running out of time to shot it before it would have disappeared behind the jetty!! The location of the boat was great for the title of the photo! "Sail Into The Sunset" will make a great large framed photo for the living room or den. Photo shot near Clearwater beach Florida.

Absolutely breathtaking, Marvin! Love this capture of a sailboat out on the ocean at sunset! I really enjoyed reading your description and think that your perseverance paid off big time. Months ago, I got a chance to see a beautiful waterfall, and the picture would have been perfect, had it not been for a few people who wouldn't leave the waterfall scene! Oh, well, I guess I will have to paint it instead, but you "paint" beautiful pictures with your camera lens, Marvin! Love this! Fave! L/F/FB!
