Some days you can be in an amazing spot and nothing happen!!! Other days you can be in a bad spot and wonderful thing unfold in front of you!!! That was the case on this day! I was striking out with the birds and the landscapes that I was hoping to get just did not turn out. My timing was poor and the days photo's were ok, but not spectacular. That is until I saw this group of birds approaching. I already had a long zoom lens on the camera. I could tell by there color that they were Roseate spoon bills. This certainly made my day, as I have never gotten a photo with this many of them in flight! As the birds flew over I could hear the sound of the wind rushing over there wings. "Wind Surfing" quickly came to my mine for the title of this image. I added a painted background to the photo for more impact. A beautiful image as a shower curtain, pillows, or cellphone case!! Amazing as a large wall hanging!!!
