Description
It is always a pleasant surprise to look up and see a Roseate Spoonbill feeding in the shallows! I saw this bird on a tributary of the Hillsborough river. His warm red color giving his ID away! I spotted him just as it looked up and spotted me!! I was not threat so he moved on and continued spooning the shallow water looking for something to eat.
