Fortified Defiance metal print by Marvin Spates. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

I am calling this photo "Fortified Defiance" as a tribute to the 35 people that lost there lives on May 9, 1980, as a ship called the Summit Venture tapped one of the main support for one of the twin spans of the bridge, bringing it all down at the mouth of Tampa bay. This new bridge is fortified to prevent this from happing ever again. There are reinforce islands around the main supports and reinforced bumpers that guard it all from disaster. Yes the new bridge is beautiful, but it also stands in "Fortified Defiance" against disaster!!!!
