Description
On the shore of a dry pond in Myakka State Park I found this grouping of water hyacinth. The plant itself is invasive, and a weed that can be hard to control. I have see ponds completely covered with it, no water seen any place! On the lighter side it produces this beautiful flower that I love so much! It is amazing how it can survive with out water for some time, until rainy season returns. This can be a beautiful wall hanging, tote, cell phone case, pillow, or shower curtain! "No Water Needed"

wonderful, dear marvin! reminds me of a page in the blurb book 'picturewise': 'what people may call weed, God would call beautiful'. your image - and the plant itself - is absolutely beautiful! l/fav

Amazing capture of this beauty Marvin! Sometimes it's hard to believe that invasive plants or weeds can produce such beauty! Magnificent! L/F
