Description
Low tide on the Gulf of Mexico is always a delightful time. You just never know what you will see in the shallow tidal pools. This time as I walk a beach near Tarpon Springs Florida, I notice this old mangrove tree stump. Most of the plant was long eroded away. This portion remained. I loved how the one root pointed out to the gulf and the fleeting sunlight. It was indeed a lovely sunset as I stood enjoying the reflections on the shallow pools. I could also hear the rumble of the distant thunder storms on the horizon. I hope you enjoy the "Low Tide Stump"!!!!
