Description
Visiting Albany Georgia I just had to get a photo of this railroad bridge! The metal frame bridge is a beautiful fixture over the Flint river. It would have been great to get the train going over the bridge but that did not happen. I was happy to get this shot just before dark, and I love the cypress trees as they line the river bank in this area and made for a real southern feeling!!! The trees made for a great frame for the bridge in the background! I named the bridge with this title because this river has flood many times and was flooding the day of this visit. It was up by about 5' about normal. I hope you enjoy "Bridge Over Trouble Water"!!!

There's nothing like a train bridge, especially if a train passes over it, but I don't miss it in this mosaic of magic, Marvin. I miss the train bridge where I used to live. Sometimes trains would get stuck on it. It passed over a river that also floods.

Re-visiting this beautiful, south Georgia train trestle, Marvin. Gorgeous lighting, nice exposure on the water and beautiful cypress trees. Adding another like and tweet.
