Description
Rapids!! There is just something about them, that draws us to them like a magnet. I shot this photo not in the middle of the forest some place, but in the middle of the city of Albany Georgia. There were lots of people all around me, just looking at the rushing water and enjoying the relaxing sound!! I hope you enjoy the relaxing view of this wonderful black and white photo I call "Flint River Rapids"!!!!!

Keep up the monochrome Marvin. These modern cell-phone pictures with unrealistic color filters are starting to get to people these days. I get a lot of comments about this more and more for those who appreciate contrast and composure!

We lived in Albany for a few years in the 70s-80s. I was a reporter for the Albany Herald ...just down the way (in those days). It always intrigued me that the Flint ran through such a busy area. Wonderful B&W, Marvin! photo...great seeing and catch! F
